Plan Your Vote Here
House District 52 is a newly created district formed during the 2021-22 redistricting process. It reverses the previous gerrymandering of 2011, which split the City of Lynchburg into two districts — diluting our political power. Now we’re back into a single district covering the entire City of Lynchburg (56,385 registered voters) and a small slice of Campbell County (5,965 registered voters).
We have a real chance to win, but only if we turnout and vote. Making a plan to vote (and talking to your friends about their plans!) is a great way to make sure your voice is heard.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 7th
Polls will be open from 6am - 7pm. Find your polling place here.

WHAT IS THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING AN ABSENTEE BALLOT?
Your marked absentee ballot must be postmarked by Election Day and be received by your local registrar by noon on the third day after the election in order to be counted.
Alternately, you may return your completed absentee ballot to your registrar’s office by mail or personally deliver it to your registrar. You may also drop off your voted ballot at any polling place by 7pm on Election Day.
YOU DO NOT NEED A WITNESS SIGNATURE
Absentee ballot envelopes submitted by mail or drop box no longer require a witness signature. Instead, voters must include their birthdate and the last four digits of their social security number.
CAN I STILL APPLY FOR AN ABSENTEE BALLOT?
No, the deadline has passed.
